Fares Sweidan

About Me:

My name is Fares Sweidan. I am hoping that this personal blog will serve as a brief introduction to myself and perhaps serve as a medium that will allow me to connect with others. I am unsure as to how this blog will unfold, but some of the topics that I wish to write about fascinate me. For one, I am an aspiring scientist. In addition, I am intrigued by social entrepreneurship and the impact it can have on local communities. Furthermore, I am also interested in ideas revolving around classical liberalism and hope to connect this with the aforementioned interest in social entrepreneurship.

A little more about me: I consider myself to be an intellectual, valuing scientific knowledge and philosophy alike. I very much appreciate the concepts of Stoicism. In particular, I am a fan of the stoic philosopher Epictetus. I have two siblings, both sisters and both of whom have graduated from Arizona State University. I have an all-embracing affinity to cultural diversity and appreciate people from all walks of life.
